At KORUMO we support our clients to thrive at their most brilliant edge. This means to reach beyond your comfort zone, embrace challenges, and pursue growth to unlock your full potential.

We were inspired by Yvonne Akpasom of GIZ, a leader in the peace and security sector in West Africa. She highlighted that thriving can take on different forms depending on the stage of life you’re in. It is essential to engage your whole being — mind, heart, and body.

Brenda Odero from Strathmore University  shared her experience of finding her place in academia. Focusing on personal growth and building confidence, she has asserted herself in the field of research ethics

At KORUMO we also need to look inward and stretch ourselves so we can thrive. This month we had an in-person Strategy Meet Up with some of our associates. We enjoyed time together to reflect, recalibrate, and realign to grow our support to clients.

At our quarterly KORUMO Learning event Thembela Njenga introduced us to Positive Intelligence. We learned about our inner “saboteurs”, the voices and thought patterns that impact our emotions, thoughts, and actions. We created a space of vulnerability and empathy to openly share how our inner saboteurs manifest in our work. If you’re interested, you can take the Saboteur Assessment to identify your thought patterns.
