This month we zoomed in on Next-Gen Leadership.

What is asked of leaders who are driven to make a difference in today’s complex and polarized world? Next-Gen Leadership is “business unusual”, it disrupts how we structure work, teams, and organizations.

“Inclusive leadership yields a more adaptive organization”, says Imen, an activist leader who began her journey at the age of 18. We also interviewed Thembela Njenga, a KORUMO associate, and Laurel Oettle, Director of AFRA, who shared their excitement of Next-Gen leaders and particularly women as shape-shifters in organizations.

In the  article Mindfulness at work: decelerating in a fast-paced world,  our Chief Navigator Mo Salomon talks about finding a sense of purpose in your work. Bringing yoga to the workplace and Leadership Retreats are some of KORUMO’s other offerings to support this journey.

“A mindfulness culture can help shift an organization from automatic pilot to business unusual. A culture that balances doing with being, that stimulates deadlines and blue-sky thinking, and that embraces business meetings and meditation.”
