Connecting with others begins with connecting with ourselves. It requires us to look within for self-assurance and inner strength. By empowering ourselves, we become better equipped to contribute to the common goals of our families, organizations, communities, and humanity at large.

Recently, we co-facilitated the Free2Lead retreat, hosted by Positive Vibes, bringing together a global cohort of LGBTIQ+ activist leaders. Tatenda Cole, a Free2Lead fellow, described the retreat as an opportunity to connect and exchange ideas. Through connection we become aware of our blindspots and help each other to break down barriers.
